A brother and sister whose parents are killed in a raid on their ranch are taken by renegade whites, Maxicans, and Indians. They are traded to other Indians, and live with the Indians for awhile, and then get loose on their own. The boy, Jimmy heads farther west and becomes a fast gun on the wrong side of the law. Jennie finally decides to set out and find him. They were both taught by their father to use two guns and are both pretty good with them.
After a run in with an outllaw, Jennie takes him in to the law and receives a reward. She thinks maybe she can pick up a little money along the way by catching others. In the trail she is folowing to find her brother she meets a lot of them anyway.
She befriends someother people along the way and saves them from disaster. Since she is very pretty young lady, everyone thinks she shouldn't be out there riding the wild country by herself.
After following her brother across New Mexico and all over Arizona, Jennie finally catches up with him, and her catching up with him causes a big shoot out with his gang.
The story is told through action, sorrow and little humor and romance.
