The last thing I expected that morning was to trip over a dead body.
Well, I didn't exactly trip over it. In fact, when I left my house for an early morning walk it was still dark, and the first time I passed the corner of Roosevelt and Park, I never noticed the body leaning against the Dumpster. By the second time around, my pace had slowed and the first rays of daylight had brightened the clear spring day.
