Book One - THE FIND
In 1999 Brad Scott, a 30 something American businessman working in Brussels Belgium decides to put together his own vacation in Israel. He hires a guide who is a graduate student in archeology from the university of Jerusalem and is studying for his doctorate. Brad wants to visit and explore ancient digs in that country, especially the out of the way places where ordinary tourists may not have the privilege to visit. His guide with his contacts is the perfect means of achieving the vacationer’s goal. Through a coincidence they come across a dig and find an old urn with a cryptic message about a key and he becomes an unwilling pawn in a bizarre game. Brad is confused and gets fed up with the annoying and unexplained events that keep popping up around him. He finally decides to cut his trip short and chuck the whole idea, but will the circumstances let him now that he’s been dragged into some diabolical scheme where there may not be a way out and could even cost him his life.

The Find
The book revolves around archeology, mysticism and some ancient myth in Israel. It involves a number of characters that are all somehow connected to a relic buried a millennium ago.
They are all strangers, but through bizarre coincidences are pulled into a whirlwind of events that hurls them into a dimension,which exists between the realities of this world and the supernatural. The central character sometimes wonders whether he has lost his sanity.
The characters involved are as diverse as their backgrounds and only one of them who possesses the artifact knows the price for getting involved in the maelstrom that is forming around and pulling them into its center from which there may not be any return.

Suddenly the Franciscan stopped talking. This time he was sure he heard a grinding sound. Looking around he saw no one. The priest also glanced from side to side.
“What’s the matter? You’re nervous. Why?”
“It’s nothing. I guess I’m just jumpy.”
Just at that moment Brad lifted his head and saw a large stone teetering on a tower above them and was sure he could see some figures beside it with their shoulders pressed against it, but didn’t have time to have a good look as the stone tilted and began its plunge towards the pavement. He pushed the priest hard with his left shoulder so that the old man fell and rolled over on the hard cobblestones in the square. The monk lost his balance and ended up beside him.
The priest looked at Brad shocked.
“What the ...”
