The ScreamBed Chronicles is a book of essays and poetry. The essays chronicle different relationships and other intimate encounters from the author’s past. Some of the essays deal with the author’s earlier days as a cheater, the dynamics of interracial relationships, avoiding love and commitment while having as much sex as possible among others. Several women were interviewed in one essay about their cheating experiences as a reminder to guys in denial about how good woman cheat when they do. The poetry is scattered throughout the book and their themes range from love, sex and the erotic. Some men will find the tone of this book disturbing, maybe because of a perceived assault on “male values” or that the author is pandering to women as a doorway to getting them; but the many men who are great husbands and boyfriends will not be offended by the straight talk about men’s behaviors in relationships. One reader called Ari's writings 'bold' while another called it 'non-egotistical' and 'real talk.'

Delilah is successful in her career, very intelligent, humorous and by all appearances, happily married. What many of her associates don’t realize is that she put on a show when it comes to the ‘happily married part’. Delilah is quick to point out to anyone in her ‘inner secret circle’, that she loves her husband dearly; but she feel that she’s capable of loving more than one man on different levels at the same time. She says that she’s never been played, but she’s played every man she’s been with including her husband. I asked her how she felt about her playing all her men, she replied in a matter of fact tone: “fine”. “Playing around is the most natural thing. It has to happen. I enjoy it. It works for me. Most people were not made for monogamy. A monogamous state is an unreal state and I think that each of us defines monogamy differently”.
