43-year-old county prosecutor, Stan Kobe, living in the Arizona Witness Protection program since the age of thirteen, is forced to confront his past when former Chicago gang-members are arrested south of Phoenix. Stan, now known as "Maricopa County's Most Ruthless Prosecutor," is compelled to return to his hometown where as a boy he witnessed the murder of the last surviving member of the infamous 1919 Black Sox baseball team.
