Robertson Clan Donnachaidh, sometimes known as Clan Robertson, is a Scottish clan. Chapter 1: VAMPIRA, SCOTLAND THE DUNALASTAIR CASTLE GROUNDS AUGUST 15, 1130 12:15 AM

As the sounds of celebration and jubilation echo from Vampira's castle several yards away, King George Robertson and his brother, Prince Shannon, enjoy an evening horse ride on the castle grounds surrounded by their castle guards. Unknown to them, a legion of werewolves led by Grey Wolves Gaal Grey and his wife, Gomer, silently penetrates the outer forces of Vampira's defenses. They quietly prowl toward the royal family's lair, intending to vanquish their archenemies...once and for all.
During their ritualistic midnight horse ride, Prince Shannon gazes over at his brother, King George, and says with a smile, "Congratulations again, your Highness, on the birth of your beautiful children. I'm happy to be an uncle, finally!" "Threatening
"Thank you, Prince Shannon," King George proudly answers. "Grace and I are in total bliss with our triplets."
"As well you should be. Kristin, Kylie, and Kolbe will bring great honor to our Vampirian society."
"I'm certain of that as well, my brother," King George replies. "I only hope that they will know peace in their lifetimes, the peace that has eluded us for generations."
"Yes, my King, that is my singular hope as well," Prince Shannon affirms as he stops his horse and gazes into the glass clear, star filled skies above. King George, pulling on the reins of his horse, stops his horse as well and looks up into the heavens, at once so luminous and dark. With such a happy look now on his face, King George confesses, "I never realized how much I would love the humans, how they care for each other and how strong willed they are."
"I agree, my King. They are a very resourceful species. I highly respect them as well. Their swordsmen are very good in battle, from what I've heard," Prince Shannon replies.
"Yes, I'd love to fight alongside them one night, defending our liberty and theirs. I'm strongly considering revealing ourselves to them, because they have a right to know we exist. We Vampirians come from them, and it's only Vampira that defends their way of life," King George explains.
"What if they cannot comprehend our kind, my King, and they turn on us?" "We can only let truth lead us, Prince Shannon. The moment we fear being led by truth is the moment the spirit of our beloved Vampirian society dies," King George confidently replies.
"Well said, my King. Well said indeed!" Prince Shannon responds.
Without warning, a horde of two hundred loudly growling werewolves encircle King George, Prince Shannon, and their protective guard of fifty Vampirian soldiers. The soldiers quickly draw their swords as they rush to create a protective ring around the King and Prince. There's nowhere to escape and nowhere to retreat.
Two adult Werewolves and one young male walk through the werewolves' offensive barrier, each almost looking human but for glowing grey eyes and tufted grey ears. As the adult beings stare ominously at King George, the large male speaks with a dark and wicked voice, "All Hail, King George. We finally meet face to face!" It is Gaal Grey who shouts, the alpha wolf and leader of the Grey Wolves.
King George immediately places his hand on the cream pearl handle of his glistening and still sheathed Silo Sword. "I don't know how you got onto our castle grounds Gaal Grey, but I swear on my life that you will not make it to our castle of Dunalastair," King George promises, fangs bared. His voice thrums in the stone, making the thick hair on the Werewolves rise."
Gomer Grey instantly moves to her husband Gaal Grey's side, pulling out her weapon of choice, a long iron chain linked to a spiked steel ball. "Threatening my alpha husband will only make my crazed hunger for your royal flesh even more irresistible, King George," Gomer lustfully whispers.
Prince Shannon now draws his sword and points it in the direction of Gomer Grey. "Move any closer to my brother, you wench, and you'll surely be sorry that you did," Prince Shannon angrily yells.
"Curse you, Gaal and Gomer Grey. You and your Grey Wolves are nothing but evil incarnate, nothing but beasts. Vampira only wants peace between our species," King George pleads.
Gaal Grey turns to his youngling son, Gaad, a mere ten years old, and proclaims, "Gaad, my warrior son, now witness the death of our Vampirian enemies and the birth of your new Grey Wolf Empire!"
As King George and Prince Shannon both hear those atrocious and blood curdling words, they and the Vampirian soldiers all morph into their vampire personas. Their defensive and dangerous fangs now emerge from their front teeth. Hundreds of Grey Wolves now brutally engage the Vampirian soldiers, showing no mercy. Prince Shannon gallantly fights off dozens of werewolves and slays fifty of them using his stunningly accurate Battle Bow, which Prince Shannon designed himself. It rapidly shoots iron arrows into the throats of his werewolf assailants, piercing their necks and splattering their blood upon Prince Shannon's royal vestures. But the huge pack of Grey Wolves converges on him from every direction, one of their ruthless combative styles, and he is overtaken. They eat him alive, limb by limb, as the Vampirian soldiers look on in astonishment and horror. King George battles heroically. He dismembers and slaughters seventy-five werewolves with his supernaturally swift Silo Sword, which was crafted by the Vampirian gods and handed down to King George from his grandfather, the first Vampire, Lord William Robertson.
Gaal and Gomer Grey stand back, watching their mighty Grey Wolves overpower the Vampirian soldiers and then turn their attention towards King George. Gaal and Gomer viciously throw their own werewolves away from the now wounded King George. The pack backs off, subservient, as their alphas assault King George themselves.
Gaal chews off his left arm as Gomer mauls his left leg. King George, with his last burst of strength and spirit, slashes his Silo Sword with his right hand at the heads Gaal and Gomer Grey, instantly decapitating both of their wide-eyed, smiling faces. The heads fly from their bodies as his own flesh dangles from their slavering mouths. Their headless carcasses fall to the bloodied ground as their son, Gaad, looks on in utter silence.
King George, now gasping for his last breath of air, calls out, "Vampira, I die for you!" With their alpha leader Gaal Grey now lying lifeless next to his dead wife Gomer, the remaining Grey Wolves howl in unfathomable anguish. They all aimlessly retreat towards Grey Wood, scattering away in fear and terror.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a tall, greyish figure appears and creeps up to Gaad Grey. As he puts his arms around the youngling wolf, he says in an ominous voice, "I am Loki. Your father and mother served me without fail. I was their God. Allow me to raise you, and you exhilawill
surely have your revenge on all the vile beings of this earth." A shaken and stunned young Gaad Grey nods his head in approval. Loki leads him away from the scene of carnage, and Gaad turns back and stares at the bloodied heads of his father and mother. Loki and his new pupil Gaad Grey walk into a mysterious patch of thick fog...Grey fog. Loki places his hands on Gaad's shoulders. "I descended from the heavens to this planet many eons ago, banished from my seat in the court of the one who calls himself the `Great I AM', because he was jealous of my ambitions. I wanted to be the heir to his throne, but he rejected me. In the heavens, my likeness was like that of a human, but He cursed me with glowing grey eyes and wolf ears, which marked me as an outcast. I mated with the human females of this earth and created my own seed...the Grey Wolves. Since then, the Great I AM has shown his favor only to his human creation and now more recently to his secondary creation, the Vampirians. Around other humans, we appear exactly as they appear, matching every feature, with the exception of our grey eyes. However, unlike the Vampirians who embrace their human side in their lives, we embrace our wolf side in ours. Around other Grey Wolves, we are fully wolf, in our language, our mating and in our eating of raw flesh. Our greatest powers are flattery and deception, which are used against our prey in every vicious hunt. Our future lies in you, Gaad Grey, because I have had visions of your coming reign. Therefore, I pronounce you as my sole heir to the Grey Wolves legion," Loki says. In a twinkling of an eye, Loki and Gaad vanish away into the mysteriously thick Grey fog.

Chapter 2- THE DUNALASTAIR CASTLE GROUNDS August 15, 1147 (17 Years Later) 8:00 PM

On a lovely, refreshingly cool evening in the woods of Vampira, the sweet enchanting aroma of fresh purple lilies intoxicates the senses of two lifelong friends. A handsome but rugged, seventeen-year-old Vampirian male, Jolan Tims, lies back on a purple blanket and gazes intently at the love of his life: seventeen-year-old Princess Kristin, the heir to the throne of Vampira. Her long, beautiful brown hair flows with her graceful and enchanting sword forms. Princess Kristin focuses on perfectly executing her assassin's techniques as her childhood best friend blows her kisses. As she finishes the last sets of her regimen, Jolan Tims enthusiastically exhales. The practice session has ended and he can now finally spend some quiet time with the love of his heart. As Princess Kristin places her father's pristine and sparkling Silo Sword into its sheath, Jolan says, "You were absolutely mesmerizing. I couldn't take my eyes off of you."
"Thank you, Jolan," Princess Kristin replies. She looks up into the moonlit sky and breathes in the exhilarating night air, "I saw you blowing kisses at me. That's not fair."
"I'm sorry about the kisses. Then again, actually I'm not," Jolan jokes.
"I know you're not, but don't worry; I caught them all," Princess Kristin says, with a deep blush rising to her cheeks.
"That's good to hear, because my kisses are priceless," Jolan jokes again.
"Yes, I know. I've been collecting them for years. Just keep them coming, Vamp."
"That's not going be a problem for me, gorgeous," Jolan promises.
Jolan lies back on the blanket, and Princess Kristin removes her sleek lilac assassin boots. As Jolan slowly massages Kristin's feet, she closes her eyes in sheer bliss from the pleasure of Jolan's comforting hands. Jolan silently reflects on their stress-filled lives as Vampires. His expression changes from savoring the joy of being with his sweetheart to one of dread as he can't help but wonder what kind of future he would have with Princess Kristin, with every day being a day of survival because of the hostility of the Grey Wolves.
"Do you think we'll ever live in peace with Gaad Grey and his wolves?" Jolan inquires.
"I can't say. We Vampirians are seekers and defenders of peace. It's Gaad Grey alone who fights against peace and therefore he fights against us."
"I heard the human city of Lottie was attacked by the Grey Wolves last night. Were you there with the defenders?" Jolan asks. "Yes, I was. The wolves massacred several of their villages, kidnapping the women villagers. Nearly half of their men were killed. I led a rescue team with Princess Kylie, and together we saved the lives of hundreds of humans. They're safe behind the walls of Vampira now," Princess Kristin replies.
"I'm so proud of you, Kristin. You continue to sacrifice yourself for Vampira and to protect a species that doesn't even like us. We're not even a threat to them," Jolan says.
"As Vampirians, we love those who don't love us, such as the humans. We even love those who are unlovely, such as the Grey Wolves. It's been our way of life for three hundred years, since our first father, Lord William, began to instill in us the teachings of the humans; respect, love and tolerance for all. Every Vampirian doesn't live this way yet, but most of us do. We have no ill will against anyone on this earth, which is the way we should be," Princess Kristin proudly states.
"Spoken like a true princess. You surely will be a great queen for Vampira when it's your time," Jolan compliments.
Princess Kristin smiles and then rests firmly against Jolan's chest, in his arms. He wraps his arms more closely around Princess Kristin and begins to smile once again. "We've been best friends since we were playing in the wood, chasing snakes at seven years old. Remember?" Jolan asks.
"Yes. I remember going snake hunting with you for the first time, when Nanny Winifred told us that snake blood was really our food. We thought it was red syrup!" Princess Kristin laughs.
"Yes, that was ten years ago. I'm so glad our parents didn't tell us any earlier, because I don't think I could have handled knowing what we were drinking when I was five. Younglings are funny. I used to think you were icky. You're not that little vamp anymore," Jolan wisecracks.
"Glad to hear that. And you're not that little vamp runt that used to cry every time I dangled a dead adder in your face," Princess Kristin teases.
"True. We've both grown into strong, respectable Vampirians, but I don't want to take the chance that we'll miss our moment," Jolan says.
"Miss our moment? You know we Vampirians always live in the moment," Princess Kristin responds with a puzzled look on her face.
"Yes, we do. With that said, there will never be a more perfect time for me to finally tell you this; I love you, Princess Kristin. I always have, and I always will. You and I are one Vampirian spirit. Please trust me when I say this," Jolan confesses.
"Oh, I can't believe you finally told me that!" Princess Kristin joyfully cries. "I love you too, Jolan. I trust you. I've trusted you for my entire life, since my foot was caught in the deep rocks of the river of Tinnikka when we were young-lings and you risked drowning to save me. Thank you so much for telling me this," Princess Kristin says as she tries to control her tears.
Jolan pulls out a wool bracelet from his pocket and delicately tugs at Kristin's right wrist. He bends to one knee and stares nervously at Princess Kristin's face. "As a mere shepherd in Vampira, I know I will never have your royal blood, but that does not change the fact that my heart is irreversibly yours. Will you please be my bride?" Jolan lovingly requests as Princess Kristin tries to fight back even more tears from her enchanting sapphire blue eyes.
Princess Kristin is shocked and overcome with pure happiness by Jolan's request. "You have offered me the best gift that any Vampirian female could be honored to receive...the gift of you. Yes, I will marry you, and we're not going to wait forever for this wedding to happen either!" Princess Kristin radiantly replies. The newly engaged couple kisses and embraces, then they stare off into the limitless, radiant night sky as they dream of their coming wedding night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Creatively written and keeps readers on the edges of their seats until the surprising climax., November 6, 2010
By The Publishing Guru "Todd Rutherford" (Bixby, Oklahoma) -
This review is from: The Cries Of Vampira: The Horror Of Gaad Grey, The Evil Alpha Werewolf -Volume 1 (Paperback)
Sean H. Robertson's The Cries of Vampira: The Horror of Gaad Grey, the Evil Alpha Werewolf-Volume 1, is a Twilight-inspired tale of wavering emotions, revenge, leadership, and of course the prototypical characters of horror stories: vampires and werewolves. This novella caters primarily to young adults and fans of vampire novels (e.g., Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Underworld, and True Blood).

The Cries of Vampira revolves around a secret land of vampires, known as Vampira, and the feud of its residents against another secret species, the Grey Wolves--the "deadliest creatures on Earth." Geographically, the story backdrop is Scotland, using castles, ritualistic midnight horse rides, and intricate details all working together to convey a vivid image of the setting.

The Cries of Vampira implements four different protagonists: Queen Grace Robertson, Princess Kristin Robertson, the first-born; second-born, Princess Kylie Robertson; third-born, Prince Kolbe Robertson. Each character possesses a virtue and a weakness. The first-born possesses an unprecedented loving spirit; however, her arrogance stands in her way. Princess Kylie Robertson relies on her courage to overcome her naiveté. Prince Kolbe, the male protagonist, is physically strong, but is hindered by his "me-first" selfish attitude. The Queen is known for her leadership abilities, as well as a fondness for her children. The antagonist of the story is Gaad Grey, the lord of the Grey Wolves. His strength and weakness are the same: fearlessness.

The plot unfolds right from the get-go with the slaying of Gaad Grey's parents at the hand of the Vampirian King. In response, Gaad Grey kidnaps Princess Kylie. The overlying storyline then becomes the quest to free Princess Kylie, with a number of different underlying storylines. Several quotes resonate strongly from the novella, including the evil Gaad Grey's boast that, "I will have revenge over all vampires. You and the rest of humanity will be mine for the feasting and violating."

This book incorporates themes of sacrifice and the desire to establish a utopian society where all the species of the world can live in peace. The book, despite incorporating many of the typical thematic elements, is creatively written and keeps readers on the edges of their seats until the surprising climax. The author is donating ten percent of his royalties for the entire "Cries of Vampira" book saga to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline(1-800-273-TALK), because as their slogan says, "With Help Comes Hope."

This review is from: The Cries Of Vampira: The Horror Of Gaad Grey, The Evil Alpha Werewolf -Volume 1 (Paperback)
In the first volume of The Cries Of Vampira: The Horror Of Gaad Grey, The Evil Alpha Werewolf -Volume 1, Gaad Grey is intent on war against Vampira, Scotland. Vampirian princess, Kylie believes she can make a secret pact for peace with this evil monster. But she is not enough and her stronger warrior sister, who is about to get married, Kristin, has to come to rescue her.

Ultimately, Kristin is the one who makes the ultimate sacrifice for her people.

I've always loved historical novels. With a mix of dark fantasy and adventure, Sean H Robertson, pulled me in like a moth to a flame. Weaving an intrical story of love, horror and suspense, I was kept in anxiety by each turn of the page and I find myself anxious for more.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you like reading Vampires and Werewolves, this can be a quick read for you., November 13, 2010

This review is from: The Cries Of Vampira: The Horror Of Gaad Grey, The Evil Alpha Werewolf -Volume 1

King George and his brother, Prince Shannon are leasurely horseback riding through the night, happy of the birth of the Kings triplets - two girls, one boy - hoping they will know peace in the world in their time. When unexpectedly the King, Prince, and fifty guard are surrounded by two hundred of their archenemies, the Grey Wolves. The young heir of the Grey Wolves watched as the King of Vampira, being brutily eaten to death, kills his parents. Gaad Grey wants to grow up to have his revenge on the Vampires, or will he? Seventeen years later the children are grown and have their sides and those to protect or fight. This is where our story truly picks up; with the triplets and Gaad Grey. They must protect themselves, fight, or make a last stand.

I was nervous reading the first section of the King George and Prince Shannon. I felt as I didn't make a connection at the start as the book jumps right into the meat of the troubles and the battle fought seemed hard to believe because of the exact numbers given in which the King and Prince killed yet there is fifty guard there too.

But into the next section, I really started to enjoy the story. The Vampires have a different take on the world than most norm. The story as a whole happens in one evening and told from different view points. These different view points give a different side of the characters at hand. A quick way to get attached with these characters and see the world created here.

The story got really going for me and I was fearing the end would not be a conclusion. Unfortunately, the book does end in a cliffhanger. But it was enjoyable for a quick read. I look forward to when Sean comes out with book two to see what happens.

This book is listed as Young Adult as well. I would suggest this for a teenager as there is some violence and sex in the read.
