My encounters with literature led me to poetry. So this work is a collection of my effort to share with others another level of verse.

Sometime After Laughter
Sometime after laughter the daylight wobbled
And my body froze, feeling gravity,
Something wrenched in the nook of my glands.
Worldly thoughts fled from my brain, ground shrank
Some faded, all inward. My heart added
It’s beat, and the character of my body had seized
Had passed to my loved ones.
