Alone
No brothers, or sisters,
Parents have died.
Husband divorced,
Children denied.
Alone in the world,
Acquaintances become friends.
Sharing their days,
Helping hand lends.
Effort imparted
Others to know.
Offering to assist,
And much care to show.
There are many,
With family aplenty.
Siblings and children,
But their front room is empty.
Expecting contacts,
As they are connected.
Erroneous beliefs,
Paths not intersected.
No one bothers
To call on the phone.
They could learn a lesson,
From the one all alone.
