Early one morning in South Gippsland, an average couple and their dog, come face to face with a dragon. They are transported through a star gate above their home to the overlapping second realm. There they were to become new warriors.
Tedanill, Silvanilland their dog, Orumkin, landed back at their own house mirrored in this second realm. The house is call ‘Believe‘, which is in the Patch called The Burrashone. Life in this realm is like that of a by-gone era.
They are both found to be legendary Twin Realm Lords linked by blood to the Anilltres dragons, which gives them extraordinary powers and skills as warriors. They must win the respect of the Anilltres Dragons at Fire Thorn Hill to gain any hope of victory over the evil Gand and his army of Tarnites, also Black Wing a rogue dragon.
With the looming evil storm in Bournenite city growing they must hone their abilities while gathering an army of people and creatures, because from the dragons they find out if the balance of good/evil is not maintained across the first two realms, the ultimate realm is in danger.
Outnumbered, three to one, the battle begins.

THE REALM OF BELIEVE
Geoff Cain
Sid Harta
This novel is based partly on factual places and people and then journeys into the realm of fantasy. It is quite an unusual mixture and one that it really quite entertaining.
Geoff has a great imagination and his ability to combine his real life with that of fantasy is one which I am sure we’ve all dreamt about but haven’t put into practice.
The novel begins with Geoff lying quietly in bed at home on his farm being awakened by a slight earth tremor, or so he thinks. He quietly glances at his snoring pug dog and wife, Lyn, to see if they too are disturbed. No response from either of those two and Geoff is just drifting off when he hears another noise.
He jumps to retrieve his martial arts sword to confront the intruder and frighten him away. From out of the dark comes a harsh voice that queries Geoff’s night vision and brings his attention to a magnificent golden wall that has suddenly appeared in front of his house.
Two enormous emerald stars are wavering before him and once more the harsh voice, which calls him Tedanill, emerges from the dark. After establishing that this is a friend and not a foe (surely he would not still be alive if this was an enemy), he is told that he and another called Silvanill are the only humans that can see and hear this magical encounter, as they were specially selected by the fourth realm to obtain these special gifts.
Now the members of the fourth realm need Tedanill’s help urgently and they have divined that the time is nearly right for Tedanill’s adventure to begin. Suddenly, Lyn’s pug dog bursts through the door and it is quickly established that the visitors have already made his acquaintance and his name is Orumkin.
The voice belongs to Simanill from the line of Anilltres Dragons and Tedanill is urged to wake Lyn (Silvanill) to begin their adventures. Thinking that he has stepped into something from Lord of the Rings, Geoff is doubtful of his sanity. But Silvanill is up for the journey and it is time to be on their way to adventure into the unknown realm that only few humans have ever been chosen to know.
Wow – the air must be great where Geoff Cain lives! His fable sucks you in from the very first chapter and I found myself eagerly reading the adventures he and Lyn were part of.
Geoff was inspired to write this imaginative fantasy book by a picture that his wife owns, as well as by quietly observing their black pug dog. Inspired or not, Geoff Cain can certainly write a great adventure fantasy and I cannot wait until the next instalment.
“Inspired by a painting and a dog, the author of this adventure fantasy fable has turned daydreams into an exciting adventure into an unknown realm where dragons and all sorts of mythical creatures exist.”

Realm of Believe
By Geoff Cain
THIS first-time author has used what is familiar to him – plus a huge dose of imagination – to create this fantasy story.
The retired author lives on peaceful farm in Victoria with his artistic wife and their much-love little black dog. It was his wife’s painting of a farm scene, titled Believe, which set his imagination on overdrive.
In the book, a loving couple live on a farm with their little dog in what we understand to be the First Realm – the human world. Then one night they are greeted by a dragon and invited to travel to a new realm (the Second Realm) and live on a simple farm in the Burrashone Patch that looks just like the painting of the farm by the author’s wife. And this realm is a magical place where even their pet dog, Orumkin, is revealed as being an original inhabitant.
The couple are given the names of Tedanill and Silvanill and are told they are the lords of the realm, warriors who must carry their special swords at all times. The realm is a place of great dragons and a peaceful society where everyone helps each other according to their needs, talents and abilities.
Tedanill and Silvanill settle in quickly but soon realise that something is brewing in the realm that is not at all peaceful. As in any good fantasy tale, good must overcome evil. The evil in this land is Mistluran, the current Lord of the Bournenite whose sidekick is the evil turncoat dragon, Zananill. Collectively those inhabiting this evil land are called Tarnals.
The author undoubtedly had much fun creating this fantasy world and all the creatures and their names. There is a real underlying current of whimsy and humour in this really delightful tale. Surely we would all aspire to retire to the Second Realm in our twilight years. But we would want to delay our entry to the Third Realm as much as possible – you don’t come back from there!
This is a light and lyrical tale, very entertaining and a great escape into the realms of fantasy.

The Realm of Believe Dragons over South Gippsland Geoff Cain
Whether they are familiar with the sweeping hills of South Gippsland or not, teenager and adult readers will love the scale of this story. In this work the ever growing powers and challenges that are familiar territory in role playing games are combined with magical elements that will capture the mind and carry the reader along through the landscape. The story quickly develops its rhythm blending the everyday, from the domestic routines and cares of life, with the fantastical, developing a believable and attractive alternate Realm. Unusually for a fantasy story the heroes are an average couple, who with their dog/guardian animal, embrace the opportunities and challenges of the Dragons’ Realm without hesitation. The theme of ‘belief’ weaves through the story creating a focus for the dramatic energies of the fight between good and evil that defines the Realms. A fast moving, well drawn story that reflects its artistic and geographic roots.
Since committing an environmental crime on the post apocolyptic planet Klairn is grounds for execution, investigating the guilty is quite dangerous for a Protector of Klairn.
