In the course of life we are impacted by experiences that evoke feelings that root in us as if planted, leaving seemingly huge questions. Then one day revelation arrives and the lingering questions dissolve. It becomes clear that they are not huge at all.

Paying Cost
I've left so many shattered hearts behind
And often that was my sincere intent
And the wasted time still twists up my mind
For all the worthless hours that I spent
Often I was searching for I don't know
So I built a tall wall around my heart
No matter in which direction I'd go
'Cause in the end I would always depart
This left me empty and longing for love
In wilderness I've roamed all by myself
And all my pleading unto high above
Simply left my heart on a dusty shelf
In regards to those I loved and then lost
Ultimately I'm the one paying cost
