America has been called the land of opportunity, and New York City has been at the center of that belief. Many people migrate to this city hoping that it will change their future. People come her to make their mark in business, economics, politics, art and music. Each settles in the area of the city which caters to his or her talents and profession. Some fail, while others succeed. There are those who distinguish themselves because they have the talent to begin with and there are others whose talent is forged on a road of trial and error...learning from his or her mistakes. Their success can be in several ways - a meteoric rise to the top, or it might be achieved as the result of many failures. Some can also be born into wealth and success, while others come upon it by a stroke of sheer luck. They just might be at the right place at the right time.
However, something unexplainable can happen to a very select few. It catapults them into a world of dreams. They can enjoy the fruits of that world, but it just happened...it wasn't their intention. They just hoped and prayed for success, like all the others. For some, it can be like a nightmare, but for others, it can lead to something extraordinary.
A young female abstractionist artist and a young male singer/songwriter, each have a vision of each other which gives them creative energy. She sees a man and hears beautiful music and songs, and he sees a woman with beautiful paintings. She happens to see him at a music festival and he sees her on the television news. They are unable to meet each other for a long time, but when they do, they have a shared vision. After that, she cannot paint without hearing him sing and watching him compose, and he cannot compose unless he watches her paint. They realize that they are in true love and depend on each other to create.

The SoHo district, in New York City, is an area of fabulous shopping, and an abundance of art galleries. A lot of younger artists from across the USA move here to achieve their goals and dreams. They set up studios and apartments in old cast iron buildings, which were once warehouses and factories. In one of these buildings, is a beautiful young woman named Nicole. She has long black hair, large brown eyes and a white face with peach colored cheeks. She is painting a picture in the in her apartment studio. Nicole is an abstractionist. She tried painting in other styles and methods, but found abstractionism to be her calling.
Nicole has painted a few pictures, putting her feeling and emotions in her painting. She has the idea that she might one day display her pictures in a gallery because she has enough talent. She dreams of her future and imagines a long hall adorned with beautiful abstract paintings. In the center of the gallery is a picture of a spiral with changing colors - red to orange to green to yellow. Inside the spiral there are two figures - a man and a woman. They are holding each other and flying. She returns to reality from her dream and begins to paint the same picture that was in her dream. As she is painting the picture, she had a vision in which she hears music, and sees the face of a young man with blue eyes.
Also, in one of these buildings, at the same time, a young man named Mike is composing and playing music in the studio in his apartment. He writes and sings about his feelings and emotions. He is a handsome young man of medium height, with dark hair and blue eyes. While he is composing, he has a vision of a young woman and paintings of many colors behind her. This vision gives him the energy to continue to compose music describing his feelings and emotions.
