SEMISOCIALIST’S CREED
Government: Not only should it establish laws and delegate authority to those who shall regulate such laws, it should also establish itself as the citizenry’s soundest insurance that a structure of survival shall be maintained for all. Survival can be ensured only when all of the resources, facilities and services necessary for adequate life sustentation are provided by a human management system of blind equality that is empowered to fairly distribute the essential benefits of all assets to the total populace, with its empowerment diligently maintained in order to certify the perpetuation of said assets for all future generations to come. Perpetuation can be guaranteed only when a governing body selected by the masses is allowed to control or ensure the availability of all imperative goods and services needed by society. No essential ingredient necessary for massive human existence or advancement should fall under the graces of any private concern. As the land gave birth to all of humanity, so must that which it yields be obtainable by all who dwell upon its surface. To exclude any human sole from the ingredients it renders is to violate the right of the mind and body to strive and prosper from constructive manipulation of matter created by no terrestrial man.
The resources of this world are limited. As man strives to survive, so does he endeavor to create and produce. Life without construction is existence without merit, ancestry without legacy, and posterity without heritage. Competition is the agent employed by man which renders rewards in greater quantity to those employing it best. And though it builds ability, strength, and confidence, said agent should never allow the elite of a prior generation to bequeath a legacy of inordinate wealth unto their descendants that was gathered in the absence of future soles yet to be born. As there have been more virgin resources and less human soles in the past, so will there be less virgin resources and more human soles in the future. No era of humanity should allow the private sector of a prior generation to accumulate any materialistic advantage that allows the successive descendants of a privileged elite to be geometrically enriched to the point where the successive descendants of an unprivileged mass are geometrically deprived.
There is no greater secular legacy that a prior generation of man can render unto its descendants than a benevolent and stable system of human management—one meticulously designed to preserve the purity of the environment, to ensure the security of the masses, and to lead the people unto the highroad to prosperity and progress. Such a bequeathal delivers unto humanity’s successive generations a solid foundation from which to rise to whatever heights they may.
The system of management must recognize that the acknowledgement of universal truths and the holistic incorporation of these into human policy is the only course toward anthropological growth and evolution. To deny these truths is to place humanity onto a course toward deception, falsehood, and the hardships inherent therein. To fail to seek them is to remain the fool. Man is forever the creature possessing the knowledge to be the greatest fool on Earth; therefore, his spirit must never be closed to change and resolution….no matter how painful….no matter how humbling.
The system must also recognize the fact that, as individuals, we do not always make the right moves. Personal freedom accords one the opportunity to prosper, but it also allows one to fall prey to the depths of inadequacy regarding self-preservation as one navigates life’s maze of options. An administrative structure which counteracts our shortcomings is the key; the fallibility of man makes it absolutely necessary. Mistakes are inevitable, but failure must become a myth, rendered inconsequential by human management engineered to compensate for individual improvidence and dedicated to ensuring that the progressive in society never repress the passive in society.
For these reasons—and upon witnessing what should by all rights be a world of peace, cooperation, and prosperity—I conclude that true progress awaits humanity only with the introduction of a clearly defined administrative system capable of accommodating all the aforementioned requirements. For these reasons…I am a semisocialist.
