My past-life regression to the Body of God and then to my first primordial human lifetime when I gave birth to my reflective self-consciousness gave me the missing pieces that I needed to solve the mystery of our purpose in life, and as I wrote Cathedral of My Past Lives I connected these missing pieces and worked out the Divine Plan of God.
No doubt there are many spectrums to the Divine Plan of God, but the one that I experienced awakened me to the evolutionary process of life. I came into the world as an un-self-realized atom of God (soul seed), and my purpose in life was to evolve in consciousness through the evolutionary cycles until I gave birth to a new “I” of God, or reflective self-consciousness. This was my human self, or ego consciousness.
In my first primordial human lifetime as “Grunt” I grew in ego consciousness by appropriating all the will power that I could get from my clan; and although it was a very dim self-awareness I knew that I was separate from my clan members, and I experienced loneliness for the first time in my existence.
From the moment I gave birth to my reflective self I began what Jung called the individuation of the constellated archetypal self. The individuation process is the growth and development of self-consciousness, and with each new incarnation I grew and evolved in personal self-consciousness.
I grew in self-consciousness through the natural process of karma and reincarnation; that is to say, now that I had given birth to a new “I” of God, as I lived my life I created personal karma, because you can only create personal karma when you have self-consciousness; and karma is soul’s relationship with life.
This part of the puzzle took a long time to resolve, and I only resolved it when I connected the final missing piece—which, by luck (actually, it was also providentially designed) I just happened to have tucked away in the back of my mind. This was an experience that I had when I first began living Gurdjieff’s teaching of “work on oneself” many years before I had my past-life regression back to the Body of God and my first human lifetime as “Grunt.”
It was springtime, and I was sitting in the back yard of our family home, leaning back in my chair with my head touching the warm stucco of our house; and as I soaked in the soothing warm rays of the spring sun I closed my eyes and let my mind wander—and that’s when it happened.
I felt myself drifting through time, back further, and further, and further; back through the ages, centuries, millennia, and eons—all the way back to when there was no life on Earth at all. I could see the planet Earth, and it was desolate and barren of all life; and I saw the gases of the Earth rise up into the sky, and as the gases blended with the gases from the sky they formed nuclei, which were amino acids, the first building blocks of life; and the moment the amino acids were created I felt myself “enter” into the emerging life process, and the moment I entered into the life process, LIFE WAS BORN!
