The trials and tribulations of our daily lives are dealt with differently as we each encounter them. Yet, there is a commonality of desire within us to resolve these crises quickly and in such a way as to come out mentally, physically, and emotionally intact. We know that things cannot always be what we would like for them to be. Neverless, our initial reaction to any unexpected disaster is to sometimes deny it's existence, pretend that it will just go away, and everything will be "normal" again; or become angry, bitter, and withdrawn. The courageous resolve whereby others have overcome seemingly impossible situations in their lives was not blind luck or special gifts, but rather simple faith to move forward, one step at a time, with their eyes on the horizon of a brighter tomorrow. Like self-inflicted gunshot wounds, we often do more damage to ourselves by denying reality, refusing to forgive, harboring anger, and creating mindsets that make it impossible for us to function normally in society and in personal relationships. Nations, as well as individuals, are guilty of such behavior, and inevitably reap the outcome of their ill behavior and thoughts. For our lives to take on a higher purpose, the walls of adversity must first come down. The recognition of these walls is crucial to one's ability to move forward to a positive future. Their removal,then, is only a matter of time and effort,which will result in much more productive lives and relationships.

Our Amazing Little Cally is a narrative work of fiction.
