I have organized just over 500 of these Atlantis-related readings in a basically although not entirely chronological order so as to present a partial history of Atlantis. I have identified these 500 recipients using the information provided at the beginning of each Edgar Cayce reading, which includes date of birth, place of birth, current location, occupation, and religious affiliation in some cases. First I should say I am a believer in what Edgar Cayce brought forth with his readings. I am also a fan of Doug Simpson, an author who uses the teachings of Cayce about how our souls are reincarnated time after time and why we have special connections to people in not just this life but in those that came before. In this fascinating book, Doug Simpson exposes readers to Edgar Cayce and his readings, particularly those to do with an amazing society we have come to call Atlantis. I found the Cayce reading fascinating and the injections by Doug Simpson equally intriguing. What was lost when Atlantis was destroyed and do the readings by Edgar Cayce hold a clue to not only the intellect found in this amazing place but is it possible some day those things may be found again when we discover the lost world?

We lived from Atlantis, This is our story is a novel like nothing I've ever read before. It was my first time reading anything by Doug Simpson and I think he is brave in tackling a subject that is both puzzling and mysterious: reincarnation. In a nutshell and as explained in the summary, this novel explains the possibility of humans having past lives in Atlantis. It contains readings taken by the late Edgar Cayce- who was known for his psychic readings- and personal accounts of the author's experiences.
I was not familiar with Edgar Cayce prior to reading this and find that Doug Simpson did a great job in talking about him, explaining this subject and providing evidence of the claims he was making. I went into it with an open mind and was definitely intrigued. If you're looking for a different read that bridges non-fiction with mystical elements; a read that might be a lot to take in but will make you ponder nonetheless, look no further.
