Many people blame God instead of Satan for everything bad that happens in the world. It is really surprising how many people don't understand that this world is Satan's territory, and as long as we are in it, Satan will try to attach us. The only way you can defend yourself against Satan is to draw near to God and His Son.
There are many people living without God because they think they can do everything in their own strength and/or with their money. But they are kidding themsleves, because the devil is in the world trying to destroy each of us. God gave each of us free will to make our own decisions, and He is not running around playing Superman in everybody's lives. Yes, He has the power to do that, but He doesn't force people to do what He wants them to do. If He did, then everyone would be a Christian. God loves every one of us, and He has made provisions for all of us, but we must be willing to possess what is ours. Some people may have tried to understand God with their mind and intellect, but when they don't find God their way, they claim that there is no God. What they don't realize is that you can't get acquainted with God by what you see or by your emotions, but by your spirit coming into contact with God's Spirit and His Word. The real knowledge of God takes place in your spirit and heart, not in your mind or intellect.
God works in our lives only when we submit ourselves to Him. God has given each of free will, and He will only intervene when we ask Him to.
God's Spirit is everywhere, but until you know Him through your spirit, you will not be able to recognize or understand many things.
