In Nigeria, there are many fault finding strategies that seek to destroy religion. It is seen as the enemy of human development and social progress. If a people are having political, social and economic as well as land crises, they nickname it as religious disturbances. it is no longer possible to isolate religion from other forms of human struggle. To worsen the situation in Nigeria, there are several cultures, peoples who are speaking different languages, worshipping different gods and interacting based on different connections. This too has made the Nigerian Nation a fragile place to live in. The role religion has been playing in Nigeria can best be described as a double edged sword.
