This book is made up of short light-hearted stories of day-to-day events we have experienced with having a pot belly pig living in our house. There are color photographs on most pages, I am the photographer of these photos.
Yes we truly have a pot belly pig living in our house. We have had a pot belly pig as a house pet for approximately 13 years. This is quite uncommon so we are constantly being asked "what's it like having a pig in the house". That question is what gave me the idea to write this book.
All of the stories are true and are our own stories, none of the stories are from other pot belly pig owners. These stories will tell you about our pot belly pig's birthday party that had nearly 20 guests, taking our pot belly pig to see Santa, vacationing at the family cottage with our pot belly pig, and taking our pot belly pig inside the public library in our hometown. These stories will bring a smile to your face and possibly a laugh or two!
This book is intended for entertainment, we are not claiming to be experts on raising or caring for pot belly pigs.

The Bank
One day I went to the bank to cash my paycheck, I took our pot belly pig along and we went through the drive though. The bank teller was surprised to see a pig in our car. The teller said that they did not have pig treats but then said “wait I minute, I’ll find a snack”. She then proceeded to the company break room and took veggies out of another employee’s lunch bag and gave it to our pig. We can’t even imagine what the person thought when food was missing from her lunch and her co-workers told her that they fed her lunch to a pig!
