A cook book that tells a story. Recipes from an old diary found in an attic and my great great great grandmother's recipe box.
This book is my rendition of a diary found in the attic along with my great great great grandmother's recipe box. I copied her stories as best I could from the worn pages of her personal diary and added a few stories of my own. Her recipes were hard to read, but when the eye strain was over, the recipes were not too far from many of the things we use today.

Padre Fray Juan de Padilla called together his fellow priests.
"We must show out thanks to Coronado for he has brought many good things to us here in the Canyon. He and his soldiers have befriended the Tejas Indians. We should now be able to live in peace with these Natives. Leus us prepare a feast for the man and his followers."
