Hi! I’m Steve. You might already know me if you’ve read my friend Lucy’s book. It’s great, and it’s called Lucy’s Web. You might notice a slight similarity in my title. That’s because Lucy had the idea of writing a book about all the things she’s been up to online first, and I sort of nicked the idea and decided to write one of my own. And I sort of nicked the title because after writing all of the stories I had no idea what to call it. Lucy says that she doesn’t mind, as long as mine doesn’t sell more copies than hers!
Anway, these are my stories and I really hope you enjoy them. I’m going to tell you about hackers, and men from Mars, and virtual monsters, and about my disastrous attempts to get a girlfriend. Then I’m going to tell you about how I very nearly ended up going to prison! That was a scary bit!
Michelle (she’s my foster-carer) says that I have to tell you to make sure you read her story too. It’s the one at the end, just before the special bonus story from Lucy’s book.
