Life has thrown 8-year-old Prince more challenges than most will experience in a lifetime. After discovering his dad in bed with another woman—or not, Prince found himself being raised in a single parent household by his ailing mother.

In the "white" school, he was ignored because of his race. And after transferring back to a public school in his old neighborhood, he was taunted and ridiculed for being too "white-acting." He soon learns that even if you were born in the projects, you weren’t really considered "black" unless you experienced the struggles.
