I’ll always remember that peaceful, undisturbed morning…My very last morning on Earth. I cannot be certain but, according to my rough estimates, I’d be about 19 human years now. The Daevas don’t need time, they live forever…so, my stupid Swiss watch is useless here. They don’t seem to like me very much and my instinct tells me it has a lot to do with the fact that I am human. We are not very well looked upon…here. They must consider us a disgusting and un-evolved species. They haven’t said anything of the sort, but their eyes disclose more than they probably wish. To be honest I don’t really understand their language, it’s something complex and unheard of, I could never compare it to anything familiar, but I’ve got to learn a few basic words, although I don’t really need them, they all speak my language, and quite well, I dare say.

A Paint Brush or a Pen?
Petronela Ungureanu has painted a beautiful canvas with words instead of paints. Smears of vivid imagery, streaks of compelling emotion and swirls of propelling plot will send you through this story, page after page. The author's voice is mature and inviting, leaving the reader wanting more. I sincerely hope to see more from Ms. Ungureanu in the future. Kudos on a job well done!

Sci-Fi/Fantasy in the Style of Jane Austen
I've been following Petrnela Ungureanu's blog for awhile now, and I was excited to see that she had released her first officially published fiction story. "Lost in the Seven Worlds" is a sci-fi/fantasy novelette that, to me, is very much written in the style of Jane Austin. The mix of style and subject matter make it unlike anything I've read before.

The Daevas are described very nicely as beautiful beings on another world, where our human narrator now resides. Ungureanu shines specifically in the area of creativity in describing these other beings. My biggest criticism is probably the technical spots--there were a number of areas that slipped through editing, and it could use a little brushing up in order to tighten up the story.

In conclusion, this exotic tale, though short, is super creative. And it almost seems like it might serve as the start of a longer story, as it has a surprise/cliffhanger ending. Congrats, Petronela, on your first published book!

Beautiful world!
This book had me interested when I first started reading. The world the author creates is very beautiful and unique, and the race of Daevas was very interesting. I felt like there was a lot of depth that the author had flowing through her mind as she wrote this book. I could tell this is just a teaser. I'm thinking that there is a lot more to this story. I felt like the lore was cool, and the author used very descriptive words. I actually had to look some of them up. I kind of liked that though! Most the time it seems a lot of stories are written the same. This had an "old fashioned" feel to it, but without making me bored.

Probably the only thing I would say to critique this book would be a few errors in it. The grammar is a little rough in spots. I think the dialogue got a little bit overwhelming at a few parts because there were no action tags or dialogue tags in there. I followed who was speaking pretty well, but I would suggest throwing in a few action tags so the reader can "see" what the charters are doing. Great little story over all!! Very beautiful!
