The Balcony . . . i surrender
Here i stand on the Balcony of Life
Observing the Beauty around me
Why i choose this vicarious path
When i am the beauty abound . . . see?
The Solitary Crow even spreads his wings
To let life’s still breeze transport him . . .
Yet, here i stand on the balcony, friend
As the lights begin to dim.
The soft sweet whisperings of Life is calling
To engage in “here” essence once more
Breathe deeply my friend and feel the energy
For that is what Life is for.
So i take the steps, one at a time
And i descend from this ominous loft
Of being but a bystander . . . and ground myself
As i see Life’s flame . . . as a moth.
