Tales of inspiration and imagination
The author of this gentle collection of little stories goes by the moniker of lazarusInfinity, a name that holds up well with these writings as it suggests the old tradition of passing along tales of learning and of becoming a meaningful person in the voice of a child of discovery.
We meet a little boy who loves to make others happy and is popular at school, but when the rains come (the author is from New Orleans where he writes children's books, plays and other contributions honoring the African American community and beyond) he longs to spend time by his beloved sea, but finds ways (with a little help from his loving mother) to turn the rainy day into a day of giving joy.
Our same little boy longs to fly and despite the teasing of his schoolmates he realizes his dream. He plays blind man's bluff with this father while creating a cooked meal that provides more than nourishment to others. And when he has a bad dream he discovers the support of his family who introduce him into the loving protection of his ever-present Creator.
The stories flow well, the language is straightforward yet eloquent, and the messages within the stories are so solid that they will likely become part of the maturing into fine adults that happens to our little boy main character. Good bedtime - or anytime - stories. Grady Harp, September 12

This is a collection of life lessons and affirmations in a kid-friendly format. The author captures the childlike innocence of a fresh perspective on the world, and reminds us that we never have to lose that. The stories are uncomplicated but profound - just like life should be.
Beautiful Book
This is an incredibly thoughtful series, age appropriate and inspiring. Well written, thought provoking, and enjoyable- each offers an important lesson wrapped in an entertaining story. Definitely one to get.
