Jacob Forlorn is a character you will never forget. This is a story of a man who falls in love, who is then abandoned and betrayed and then goes through what might be the worst self-destruction I have ever read. It rips your heart out and makes you want to ease his pain in some way.
This author writes in a way that hits your heart. He is descriptive and you can close your eyes and imagine yourself in the scene. Good luck putting this book down once you start. I spent two very late nights trying to find a stopping point so I could go to sleep. It’s just a book you need to know how it ends.

This book was amazing! Such an intimate story of heartache and betrayal. You can feel the pain on every page. So eloquently written, it engages the reader in every detail. I couldn't put it down once I started. Kudos to this brilliant writer. I cant wait for what's next.

Jacob Forlorn is a complex character. I haven't read anything quite like this before. Unique as I wasn't sure where this story was taking me, but along the journey there was an underlying sense of foreboding. Great sense of story structure with full circle from beginning to end. The last sentence is golden!
