I chose this book for my daughter, and she has read and reread it. A delightful, refreshing very English story about a young girl who loves art but learns to love gardening too. This is the author's first children's book, but I bet it won't be the last. Hattie and the Higgledy Piggledy Hedge will surely become a classic children's book. I highly recommend it.
