Lyrical and Bitter Sweet
I found the collection of poems entitled 'When Afternoons taper to Mortality', to be lyrical and bitter sweet. Richard Walne was clearly a very talented poet. Favourite poems include: 'I danced with you', 'How is it?', 'I have told lies', and 'When I was younger'. Love poems? Perhaps. Deeply emotional, and intense in their imagery, I'm very pleased I downloaded them. I believe that this is a poet that will be remembered in years to come. -- Georgina Anne Taylor
