Great information for those considering cataract surgery
This book contains clear, easy to understand information for anyone who has been diagnosed with catatacts and considering surgery. Surgery can be a scary thing and this book takes you step by step through the entire process--from diagnosis, surgery prepation, day of surgery, and what to expect after surgery. Cataract surgery has improved significantly through the years and this book provides all the up to date options available. I highly recommend this book.
No better book of this kind
Dr. Richardson, a leading surgeon, manages to be not only extremely informative but accessible to the layman as well. I cannot imagine a better resource for someone facing cataract surgery, or for anyone looking for a comprehensive, plainly written introduction to the subject. Dr. Richardson comes across as authoritative and highly engaged. (I picture him being the kind of surgeon a patient feels fortunate to have found.)
Great choice for patients
This book does a good job describing cataracts and what to do about them, but does so in plain English. The author has a friendly and easy to read writing style that makes the book easy to understand. The clean design with large fonts makes it perfect for patients with Cataracts (and their loved ones). I wish books like this existed for more conditions.
