An entertaining slice of erotica!
I'm not a regular reader of erotica (actually, this is my first) so I wasn't sure what to expect from Karena Marie's "The Happy Spinster." What I discovered, to my surprise, was a thoroughly enjoyable read about a woman who is very comfortable in her exceptionally seductive skin.
It would be flippant to say that the heroine of this story is an "easy woman." On the contrary, Tawny is a smart, vivacious and very sexy woman who is incredibly self-assured and is not afraid to go after what she wants - and she does.
What I was really impressed with was that I never got the feeling that Tawny was, in any way, a "loose woman," so to speak. I think in less capable hands it could have been written that way but the author's approach was so much more adept, appealing and, of course, erotic. I like Tawny, but not in that "50 Shades" way or whatever. I think she is an exceptional individual and pretty cool to boot - I certainly look forward to seeing more of her in the future. I recommend this excellent read.

My wife and I have read the 50 Shades and other erotica, this was better, just right for a bedtime reader.
The author writes a very natural and convincing tale of a woman who knows what she wants, and takes control, until a tall Texan comes to town and turns the tables on her.
A short read at 60 pages, but wow. The author Karena Marie, packs in the goods, starting with a quick intro to our girl Tawny and her care free life, then a rocket ride to the twisted end.
A very worthwhile purchase. Read it with the one you go to bed with, you won't regret it!
Great Erotica!
I have to admit I have not read many erotic books but I did read The Happy Spinster and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the characters to be real, the sex scenes hot and and the ending surprising. I thought the dialogue was realistic and it was possible to relate to the characters. Oh, and did I mention that the sex scenes were hot?
The most impressive aspect to this book for me was that it is not just a thin story line designed merely to support the erotica. The characters have depth.
I would like to congratulate Karena Marie on her writing and I would recommend The Happy Spinster to readers of this genre.
