This book is a very good read
Florence Osmund's latest book is Living With Markus. As in her other books, her characters have depth, and ethical dilemmas are confronted. I thought I might not be able to relate to a male being the main character, but Markus proved me wrong. Family dynamics, and family secrets are always intriguing, and make this book a page turner. After you read a book by Florence Osmund, you will be impatient for her to finish her next book. This book is a very good read.
Never say What Next but do say What a Great Novel!
The Chicago home on the cover caught my eye. So did the author. I enjoyed Red Clover, and this novel is even better. At first it was a brutal read. Sister and her two sons shows up at Marc 's door demanding a place to live. Then Dad show up. Out goes the girlfriend. Poor Marc. None of the freeloaders has any courtesy or common sense. Chapter after chapter things escalate. New complications keep arising. Marc is saint or a pushover. The ending is a pleasant surprise after so much hardship. Typing via my Kindle takes too long for me to write a thoughtful and thorough review. Suffice to say, this is a rewarding and insightful story with a hopeful message. Just what I needed!

If I could rate this book a 10 star I would. There are millions of people out there that will be able to relate to the
family dynamic's in this book. Like her other books her characters have depth and you can easily put yourself in their positions in life. This book incorporates two major diseases that are so rampant in our world and Florence Osmund has shown us how these individual's
dealt with it on a day to day basis. I personally couldn't turn the pages fast enough and I reminded myself of the slogan...One Day At A Time. Thank you for another wonderful book.
