Ricky and Thomas the Dragon is an encouraging children's book that teaches forgiveness and love. It teaches children that when you do something wrong, you should try to make it right again.
Excerpt
“There is one thing I must ask you before you enter into the village. Have you ever done anything wrong that has hurt someone else?” asked the dragon.
“ Ricky bowed his head. He was ashamed to admit that he had done things that had hurt people.
“I have done something.” said Ricky,sadly.
“What did you do?” asked Thomas. 2
“I told a lie about a friend a and he got in a lot of trouble. I told him I was sorry but he is mad and hurt about it. I tried to make it right but now he doesn't want to be my friend anymore.” answered Ricky.
“You tried to make it right?” asked Thomas.
“Yes.” answered Ricky.
“In that case, you can enter into Dragon Ville. “ said Thomas.
Thomas explained that only good and noble characters could enter into Dragon Ville.
“You see, Ricky when you tried to make things right with your friend, you did the right thing. You did a noble thing. That is why I can allow you to see and make friends with my friends.
Ricky smiled.
“Let's go!” Ricky shouted.
“Alright.” Thomas agreed.
The couple walked a little farther. Then they came upon a beautiful garden. There was a golden gate that lead into a huge city.

I loved this book. It teaches children some very valuable lessons about how to value yourself and how to treat others. This is a book I'll be reading to my grandchildren over and over as they grow up. i will be looking for more books by this author
