The opening chapter of this book was written as an instruction manual for a lady friend who had never masturbated and hence, never had an orgasm. She had not had sex of any kind before I wrote this for her.
Emily is a writer of children’s books. She lives a solitary but very comfortable life in a nice house in Henley, in Oxfordshire. She leads an independent and fulfilling life, busy writing and teaching. At twenty-seven, Emily is by definition a spinster. By choice, she is single and a rarity in the twenty-first century for a woman of her age; a virgin. In spite of her beauty and obvious charms, she has refrained from sex for her own very valid reasons. One thing she does know about, however, is masturbation! She indulges in her ritual every day, without fail.
A chance encounter with an old school friend leads her and a circle of friends to tell their individual sexual stories. Each character has their own part to play in the awakening process as Emily interacts with them and learns from each of them. In a series of detailed and sometimes witty encounters, we watch as each individual contributes to the narrative in their own individual manner. The main characters come together in a detailed and amusing episode to establish the basis for further exploration, not just of Emily but also her friend, Julia.
Each character has a new and unique first-person perspective on the many and varied sexual escapades of the cast of players in this tightly woven and closely observed look at rural life. The sex is detailed and frequent from the whole cast of characters, some more loveable than others. Emily’s learning process is helped along mainly by Lizzie, an unlikely source for advice and instruction.
An unfortunate accident means Emily’s regular gardener has to call in a replacement, his nephew. He is young, handsome, recently single and the perfect man to unwrap Emily’s self-imposed cloak of chastity. Watch a close up and detailed awakening as the young man works his magic on her newly lustful young body. The ending is summarized by one of the leading characters, explaining where all the players are right now. The conclusion is definitely a HEA outcome for all the major players. There is a tongue in cheek ‘How To’ element in the book for masturbation techniques along with some very detailed and effective oral sex techniques for both sexes.
By the way, it worked in spectacular fashion, so she tells me. She’s in the thousands already!
