This book is one of the best books I've ever read. I simply couldn't put it down until I'd finished it. Catryn is an amazing character trying to finish college and begin a new life although alone and confused after the tragic death of her parents. Nathan, a handsome, but also strange and increasingly stranger new friend, changes her life gradually: then -- in a blink of an eye -- forever. A fascinating new world begins opening up to her, as even more difficult to understand and keep up with people appear in her life. At first they simply befriend her. Then they begin to protect her. Finally, they save her life, which has changed so much that she's not certain she can continue in her world or join this new one. Meeting superheroes with supernatural, fantastical powers who appear on the surface to be like everyone else is difficult, But having to keep it a secret, even when her life is threatened, puts her in a quite different place than when the book began. What's going to happen to Catryn, Nathan, his family and her friends? Well, neither you or I will know until A.C. Autry's next book comes out.

If you are looking for a book that is well written, has a unique concept, and characters that you want to root for, then I would definitely recommend you give this one a try. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to see what happens next!!
I loved this book
I loved this book. It is the first I've read in some time that I did not want to put down. The characters are nicely developed and the plot is nicely paced.
