"I grew up battling it out on a court or a field; I had no idea my next battle would be for my life. At twenty-two years old, most people are burdended by the stress of finding jobs and being thrown out into the real world. I was trying to get started in a master's program while coaching a sport I love, untile the day my doctor said the word "cancer."

That Girl With Cancer is the story of my battle in the form of blogs that were created when I was diagnosed. All survivors have stories of hope and strength; my way of sharing my story was with a little bit of humor while finding a new outlook on life in a difficult time. That Girl With Cancer was written to inspire anyone struggling through the hardships of life and to show all those facing some kind of challenge that there will always be someone rooting for you.
