Susan Keefe has done it again with this latest addition to her Fantasy Farm Tales series, combining her gentle, loving writing style, voiced by the famous spokesdog Toby, with many excellent colour pictures of – mostly – little felines, to create a short but very sweet and appealing book.

I loved it (and I’m seventy two and a man) and highly recommend it.

(And as a percentage of royalties are going to an animal charity, there’s really nothing not to like!)

Another wonderful book in the series.
No. 5 in Susan Keefe's series, and like the other four books, this one is delightful.

When I read the first book in the series I fell in love with Toby, and now, having read the fifth and latest book in the series, I also love Susan Keefe's cat family.

Ms Keefe writes very well. She therefore takes us into her home and believe me one can visualise the events she tells us about.She draws her reader into her life and into the lives of Toby and his friends.

Like in her previous four books Toby is very present in this one too, and never can this little fellow bore us.

Christmas is just round the corner, so if you have a child or grandchild, or you know of a child who is going to hang up a stocking for Father Christmas to fill, you will make his or her little heart very happy by leaving Susan Keefe's series for him to find.

Gorgeous photos and a charming story.
Susan's delightful book about Toby the Border Collie and the three kittens: Cleo, Neffi and Rammi will delight young and old. The text is simple and easy to read. Older children will be able to read the story on their own but the photographs are so delightful that mum or dad will be tempted to read along. Just before Christmas, Toby and his cat companion, Casper,are joined by three young kittens who were born feral. Casper is old and prefers to keep to himself but Toby takes the young 'uns under his wing and helps to rescue them when they find themselves in danger one day. This book really appealed to me, not just because we are a multi-cat household run by two Border Collies, but because it is well written and beautifully illustrated with photos of the characters. I'm attaching a photo or two of our own cats and BCs.
