Beacon of Light
A lighthouse shines a beacon of light
Guiding sailors to shore safely at night
Like an angel's protection used to guide
The light not allowing land to hide
Our Creator protects us much the same way
Shining sun's light during the day
Later at night we see the moonlight
Keeping us from darkness or having fright
Lighthouses standing strong through the ages
Often found written about on writer's pages
Visitors climb to the top of her stairs
Looking out to sea, removing all cares
Lighthouses seem to draw out the curious
Tales often make them seem so mysterious
Like God's promises, one can guarantee
Lighthouses watched from out in the sea
