"I won't tell anyone Eric, I promise" she pleaded, choking on her tears and shortness of breath. The pain was fierce. Kelly managed to kick her way free of Eric, his fingers digging deep into her ankles as she retrieved them from his grasp. She made it back to the kitchen. She reached for the phone from the kitchen wall in desperate hopes of calling 911. As her trembling hands punched the numbers on the keypad, he ripped the phone cord from the wall. 'He's going to kill me and there's no one who can save me now' thought Kelly. 'God, please let me get out of here alive' she silently prayed.
