I returned to my book. More than ever, I was determined to get a handle on this werewolf situation. Max may have been a shit about having sex and then dumping me, but his idea of finding a cure for werewolfism was a good one that I intended to work on. Why not? The zombie problem was no more and my contest with Peter was vapor. Focusing on finding a cure for werewolfism was just the thing to focus my bruised and confused mind on.
Angela stepped onto the porch just as I’d finished the in-depth description of the book’s werewolf; its looks, its habits, its laws.
“I’m leaving tomorrow for about a week,” she said as she sat in the rocker next to me.
“Evan told me,” I said. “Please be careful.”
“Evan was here?” she said with a scowl.
“For a minute, yes,” I replied.
“He told you?”
“Yes, he did,” I said, thoughtfully. “Why?”
“It’s just that he said that he sat down with you during the last full moon with the intention of telling you and then he chickened out.”
“Why would he chicken out? It’s not his fault that there are werewolves in the area,” I said with concern.
“No, but they hate vampires. He was afraid that you’d kick us out.”
“He doesn’t seem all that attached to the place,” I mused. “First, he asked me if the ghosts bothered me and then he told me that this place reminded him of the Stanley Hotel.”
She through her head back in laughter. “The Stanley Hotel, eh? He has a point.”

Same Vickie New Fight
This is a continuation from the first Vickie book though now shes fighting werewolves. Vickie and Peter were trying to find the cure for vampirism and Peter thought he needed to go back to Africa to figure it out. With a heavy heart she understands and they agree he will be gone for an undetermined amount of time and will communicate when they can. Once he leaves everything turns chaotic. Between realizing werewolves are real and in fact hunting her and her lover being gone and finding he quite possibly lied to her then Max coming around and her realizing how gorgeous her tennant Evan is shes a mess. Then someone poisons her and Megan is kidnapped as is she soon after. This book was packed with suspense and mystery. What happened to Peter? Who poisoned her? Does she love Max or Evan? Why was there a skeleton in her attic? What do the ghosts in her house want from her? So many questions! This really was a great book the characters were well defined and plot was perfect keeping me engrossed and guessing the whole time. A definite must read.
