Looking around the surfaces and in the cupboards as quickly as she could, the only thing that she found of any use was an old fashioned razor: one that flipped open with a bare blade. She folded the blade in and tucked it into the rear of her shorts. It wasn’t as good as the bat—but she might need it—and hopefully it would hold there.
Opening the door slowly, Alice glanced out into the hallway. Only a few feet away Frankie was exiting a room and crossing the hall, going into the room that she had just left. He had discarded his clumsy boots and now walked barefoot on the carpet.
She had no time…in only seconds he would see The Wolf Man. Alice slipped out of the room, went along the hallway to the door that Frankie had left, and slipped into the darkness beyond it.
Another bedroom.
Alice squinted through the dark, this room was more like her father’s room…a double bed, nothing to speak of on the walls—another closet—and, another window. Alice started across the room to try it—only making it a few steps—before she heard the cry. It came from outside the door.
“Holy crap!” he screamed. “Guy’s…get up here…bitch has killed Kevin…”
He’s dead?
Alice shuddered. She didn’t know that it was that easy to kill a man. But maybe Frankie was wrong…maybe not. She crept over to the window—locked—and then back to the door where she listened to the commotion of the remaining three outside, still holding the bat on her shoulder.
The scrambling footsteps along the hall from the direction of the stairs told her that the other two had come up to find out what was going on.
How big is this house?
The volume of their voices dropped and Alice could no longer hear what they were saying—at least not above the thumping bass coming from the floor below. She craned her neck closer to the door.
“So, where she?” one of them asked.
“I’ve checked in those two.” That was Frankie.
“I’ll check the rest up here, you two go and see if she’s down there.” That was the third of them. So Frankie was going downstairs with one of the others and she was left up here with the third.
Good.
Frankie was a lot bigger than the other two and she didn’t think that she could deal with him if she bumped into him.

A collaboration of written pieces that tear apart, fit together and generally make you wonder, "How in the hell did I get to here?" is what is in store for the reader. Of course, I cannot give you any further detail as it will press on each victim in a individual manner. A must read.
