I began to empathize with the foul shape-shifting vampire
A small cast of characters, some old, some new, played major roles in how Risen II, The Progeny unfolds. Lawrence builds suspense and intrigue quickly by delivering snippets of details to keep you reading as the larger story unfolds….caution….there will be blood! I began to empathize with the foul smelling, shape shifting vampire, our old friend, Francis Barclay, who is on a mission to save his offspring. I drank in all of this book in one sitting. Risen II, The Progeny offers a lot of creepy intrigue – a must read for urban horror fans.
A Brilliant Read
An unbelievably Great Book. Often the 2nd book is a disappointment after such a brilliant 1st book but Krystal has done it again. Oh Boy what a book, how can she keep coming up with such stunning story lines?, she must be too wicked to sleep!. The characters are so real I don't want the saga to end.
You just won't be able to put it down once you start, every page is gripping and emploring you to read the next page. I always thought I would never read this type of book but it is simply amazing, a truly great read, you will not be disappointed, you will be gripped to the end.
Come on Krystal there must be a RISEN III because when this is made into a film/movie it has to be a Trilogy!!
Short stories I hear are next, I am looking forward to that, I am sure all you fans cannot wait!.
Just as Fantastic as Risen I
Risen II is just as fantastic as Risen. The story will keep you on the edge of your seat with all the twists, turns, and surprises. The author's creativity in storytelling is masterful. I was enthralled by the new characters and how they were woven into the exciting drama that plays out. The ending is also supremely satisfying. You will not be sorry with the purchase of this great novel.
