He falls head over heels in love with her but then has to convince her that it's the way of shifters to fall in love with a mate very quickly. Throw his best friend Dustin Grey Wolf and her best friend Maxine Jessup in the mix and there is a little drama and a little comedy and a whole lot of love.

William Brown Bear was sitting on a rock on the side of a mountain in Virginia waiting on his Grandmother. Her brother was staying in a cave and she was trying to talk him into coming down to the house for the winter, but he wouldn’t budge.
Will’s family was Native American, the Lakota division of the Sioux nation. Will was almost 30 years old, single and loved his Grandmother, who had raised him and was now living in the house with him. He knew when he brought her up the mountain this morning that his Great Uncle Johnny wouldn’t be coming home with them. He stayed in his bear form more than his human form these days, because he was getting old and it was more comfortable for him. Will’s family was all bear spirit shifters.
