UNIQUE Book
First of all, before I downloaded this book, I knew that it would not replace medical care if needed. With that said, here are the reasons that I like this book very much:
1. This is the most useful book on how to deal with chronic or any pain that I have ever read, really!
2. Ms. Shockley describes ways to manage pain and deal with pain in UNIQUE ways. I have never read a book as thought provoking for pain as this one.
3. This book is, in my opinion, a very helpful pain workbook, so easy to follow.
4. How this book helped me most:
First, I discovered not to judge pain, it would be possibly with me until I healed.
Secondly, I also learned that my fear of pain, stress of pain made my pain grow worse...this book has helped me to calm down regarding my pain and it has aided in my healing.
Third: When I have pain, it is sending me a message to see a doctor if needed and take better care of myself. - Daisy S. Hall of Fame Top 50 Amazon Reviewer, 5 star review
Great for Sufferers of Chronic Pain
This is actually the best purchase I have made in awhile. I am not going to say that everything in the book was new information, but it is presented in a way that is highly understandable from an author who deals with chronic pain every single day.
