There is Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga and now Nab Yoga. Watch out when you go to your car after class. Danger may lurk there.
Nab Yoga is the third book in the Brain Bleed series. Private investigators, Robert and Julia Forrester travel to Quebec City, Paris and Stockholm to track down the person who nabbed their neighbor and friend, Cathy, in front of a yoga studio. They are helped by the Paris police in tracking down their man and in return they locate a stun gun killer who is on a European killing rampage.
The investigation turns up the mastermind of the kidnapping ring and exposes his second business, running guns. What is this world coming to?
Teaming up with the Paris police, Robert and Julia set a trap, take down these evil men and stop their dangerous way of life. Thank goodness.
Excerpt
A white van was waiting at the far end of the yoga studio parking lot to not draw attention. Dawg and Barry were ready to take action when the time came.
At 1:45 the VW hybrid pulled up and Cathy got out with her yoga mat under her arm. Colorful yoga pants and a tight fitting top emphasized how well yoga kept her body in shape. She was a real distraction for single men when she shopped for groceries, and more than once she had to let these creeps know she was not available. She loved Alan.
After Cathy went inside the studio, Barry drove the van up to the spot next to the driver's side of the VW. The sliding door opened just where she would be standing when she got into her car. The trap was set.
"Here is your mask, Dawg. Put it on before you grab her. Add the chloroform to the rag just as she gets here so it's potent and doesn't evaporate."
"Mexican wrestling mask?" Dawg asked. "Where did you get these?"
"In a Mexican second hand store in Albuquerque. Put it on before you get out to nab her."
"What time is it?"
Barry looked at his watch. "Three-twenty p.m. She should be coming out soon." A few women walked by holding yoga mats. "Wow, look at the ass on that one, Dawg. Some of these women are built like a brick shit house."
"Wait, there she goes now," Dawg said. "She heading towards Starbucks and should be back in ten. Are we ready?"
Dawg put on his wrestling mask and had the cloth in his hand. He poured the chloroform onto the rag. His other hand was on the door handle as he waited for Barry's command.
"I can see her coming, Dawg. Get ready."
Cathy was still sipping her coffee as she held out her key and beeped the door to unlock.
"Now!" Barry said.
Dawg opened the sliding door and stepped out. Cathy turned to face the masked man and instantly knew she was in trouble. She quickly removed the lid from her hot coffee and threw the contents at the mask face. Dawg's eyes and mouth received the hot liquid full blast. Cathy followed the move with a swift kick to the groin just as Dawg grabbed her shoulder and gave her a pull. He was in extreme pain and blinded at the same time. He swung his other arm around where he thought Cathy's head would be and hit pay dirt. The cloth slammed into her face just as she let out a scream.
