Just the start of something epic
If this is just the start of a story, then we're in for one hell of an adventure. In a short space they have managed to create a wonderful world of dragons, barbarians, minotaurs, elves and men, with a hint of the darkness to come already creating havoc in the world. Can't wait to read more
Classical way of demonstrating fantasy and imagination!
The writers of The Dragon’s King have been blessed with high level of imagination which enabled them to come up with a series of such sublime story. It is indeed a splendid piece of artwork. They should keep the same fascination level in the upcoming episodes and this will definitely be one of the magnificent series of its kind.
True Dungeons and Dragons fare
Love the first installment! It kept me reading, can't wait for future episodes. I'm hooked and will spread the word
Although the author captured my attention in the concept of the initial characters and story, I found the abrupt changes to the story line to be distracting. Open threads in a story can create suspense and keep the reader moving forward. In my mind I am wondering too much about what parts of the story hinted at and left untold rather than the story in front of me. I do like the characters and the realm. There are more than just the regular Tolkien creatures,some are more reminiscent of the Paolin creature interactions. The allusion to ELRIC cannot be lost on the true fantasy reader though. I am looking forward to the rest of the story.
