The world has flipped upside down and America is now a rainbow nation. A new class of citizens has arisen from hibernation and rejects heterosexual idealism and culture. In the aftermath of legalized same-sex marriage in the U.S., two pastors are pulled into a new kind of civil war.
In this new America, lawsuits now run rampant and ministers are imprisoned. Riots ignite everywhere while Church doors are shuttered and chained. Will the church be eternally silenced, or will their outrage shake the heavens?
Pastor Sams attends the public rallies and even makes appearances in the courtroom to show his solidarity in standing with Pastor Charles. However, there is a constant fear that threatens their cause and their friendship. As new developments arise and new rebellions crop up, the fabric of the America they once knew begins to shred. The church appears to be losing its voice as the LGBT community lunges forth out of hibernation.

Gasoline splattered the side of the parade float, carrying fumes hundreds of yards up the street. The rickety, wooden wheels designed to give the float a sense of flair would prove to be unsteady soon enough. Off in the distance, a flicker of light appeared but was soon extinguished by a loud whacking sound. It was her escalating screams, however, that drew him into her situation. Something inside of him wanted to run and throw himself on top of her, to shield her from the beating that was coming, but his feet remained rooted in place. Violence had never been something he could stomach. His insides flipped about as the brunette cried out in agony and fell next to the float. Her hands covered her head as she balled up into a fetal position, but it left her back exposed. The awful thumping of the officer’s baton made the hairs stand up on the back of his neck. He cringed and dug his fingernails into his palms, snatching his head in the other direction. He hadn’t turned his head quickly enough to avoid a glimpse of her being drug by the collar of her pink jumpsuit across a street littered with torn signs and crumpled flyers. In quick succession, glass bottles flew in the direction of the float, bouncing off and crashing to the ground. What had he gotten himself into? He ran for cover as parade-goers jumped out of the way to avoid flying glass. Armed policemen wrangled a handful of bottle-throwers to the ground, threatening them with a wave of their sticks. News cameras shot from every angle, capturing the blowback from the crowd. This had never happened in all the years Winter had stood on the streets to watch their city’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Yet, there had never been a catalyst to provoke this kind of hysteria either. He stared ahead at the lead float—a towering balloon of two men kissing. A well-beloved, cartoon character had come in second place this year in the wake of a new revolution. Against massive opposition and ongoing protests, the LGBT community had managed to make a bold appearance. Liberation hadn't just evolved in this part of the world; it had exploded.

This is an awesome read! The author managed to use everyday life to relate to a Christian world. This book made you realize that no one is exempt and everyone is struggling with some type or types of issues. I can't wait for book #2!!!! I will definitely recommend this to other!!!

This is a great book. It is definitely well written and is relevant for this day and time. The writer has taken time to depict much knowledge regarding the state of the world and where it is headed if we do not pray. There are many twists in the book and it keeps the reader interested from beginning to end. You will not be disappointed in buying this book!
Very Captivating Read
I am at Chapter 6 now and I don't want to put this book down! It definitely keeps your attention and I find myself wanting to get to the next page to see what is about to happen next. It relates to so many modern day issues and is right on point. Awesome read!
