Fantastic Modern Ghost Story
Maybe one of the best books I read all year. I loved Alex and his sidekick/possible girlfriend Margaret, the ghost story was sufficiently creepy and twisty, and though the fact that Alex was trans was present, it didn’t define him as a character, which really admired. I’ll definitely be getting into book 2 and beyond!
Samantha is a unique artist only using red ink in her drawings. She comes across a red feather pen enchanted never to run out of ink but she soon discovers that the drawings created from the pen come to life.
