A fictional tale of witches, warlocks and wizards trying to fit in with the mundane way of life but always fearful of the consequences of being found out, especially after having already been persecuted and driven out of another town previously.
An accidental skirmish between two differing species, (both of which were once witches and warlocks) banished to adjoining worlds in an alternative dimension.
The chonguns had size and brute strength on their side but the rengans had some magic, even though it was somewhat limited.
There was no telling or even guessing if it did progress into a battle, if it would be a fair fight or which side had a better chance of winning.
Excerpt
Wiz watched the craft land, less than a quarter of a mile from where he sat and after some time, he saw a ladder being lowered from the craft onto the surface of the moon, when he saw figures emerge, it became obvious to Wiz that they were human.
He was surprised at first but then a little peeved when one of the figures placed a flag into the surface of the moon, he then realised that these were Americans but he thought ‘what a cheek!, they’re acting as though they discovered the moon, or that they were the first to ever come here but Wizards have been coming here for centuries’.
He didn’t wait around to see anymore, after all, he’d only transported to the moon for peace and solitude and there wasn’t much chance of that, now that it had been invaded by humans.
