Despite the current level of civilization, there are still backward aspects in every society worldwide, Let us all come together online through a visual country concept and act to fix these aspects and advance current level of our civilization.
Some aspects of our world today (or our civilization) need tidying-up, or need to be improved so that humanity would move forward in those aspects. The concern here is on some aspects at the levels of individual humans and the society in general (not on things governments do). There are some products with some reality that should be improved with existing technology, but they remain in production for consumers (the same with services that should be improved where possible). Workplaces in many countries have against-the-rule practices or attitudes form some employees or employers that others in the work environment have to cope with, stressing people and slowing down productivity. Every individual ought to get regular information on research-confirmed best ways of life for an individual in every aspect of life including food types and quantity of food, and every other thing in life. Some towns and cities are known for some backward realities that should be improved (noise, open indiscriminate garbage dumping, ignoring traffic rules etc.) – as if in a jungle! These and more in human society today ought to be changed for the better where possible; Tidying up our civilization (if not, how do we define our civilization or status of humanity today when it is possible to tidy-up our world today?). We all easily frown at things that are not proper (and international voices usually have power) so let us come together across national boundaries to form a new International Virtual Country, an online movement (of online citizens) to be joined across world countries which we should use through online means to raise red flags (for attention of some local or international authorities) against some realities perpetuated by some individuals and corporations (not by governments) in different grassroots localities of the world, so as to tidy-up our civilization. There are ways this could easily be done through international individual’s joint effort to move workplaces, goods and services etc. forward in civilization (or to tidy-up our era of civilization), and also move ourselves into the realm of individual-best-practices to improve our life. Even though your book is short I have little time to read books so I probably won't. But I do like to comment on these book descriptions and excerpts.
Your description and your excerpt are the same. They shouldn't be. Many people, the world over are afraid of a collective world government for multiple reasons. For example, the turmoil in the European Community over Brexit. A step I would consider backward, like retaining the royalty at tremendous cost with very little benefit except to them.
Multinational companies that you seem to be referring to have infiltrated almost every country in the world and normalized them before any governmental or other action like the United Nations. Coca-Cola and McDonald's are now ubiquitous around the world. Even though, found to be unhealthy as part of the human diet.
The Internet, indeed, has brought us all together with greater understanding. More and more television shows on cable and over the Internet bring us localities and people close up and personal so we can begin better to understand them and why they live the way you. People have universal need and cares that should be addressed, regardless of where they live.
I'm a little concerned with your concern for, "Tidying up," that is the kind of thing that dictators like to do to get the favor of the people, making the streets look clean and neat while hiding a jungle of deceit and cruelty back where no one can see it. A better approach would be using small technologies to make small improvements in life that save the land and its fauna and flora. The uniqueness that a place as that make it precious for those who live there in the world to see via the Internet at any time.
