When you are pleased by us, you destroy all our diseases and troubles. When is the mother goddess pleased? She is pleased when we are good and righteous. When we do good deeds and be honest, walk in the path of dharma (righteousness) and when we follow the values and morals we were taught by her (i.e.) living in the way of life instructed by the Vedas, Smrutis and Puraanas. If we are not able to live righteously but we want to live so wholeheartedly and we pray to her. She purifies us and leads us in the path of righteousness.
Here the word Roga which literally means disease also indicates other problems which sicken us. That is if we be righteous and worship goddess Durgaa with true devotion, she rectifies all the problems which affects us
