non dual. He is non-different to our true self. He is atman (our real self) he is inseparable. He has nothing second to him, he has nothing which is separate from him, all this we see and hear are his mere reflections, and the whole universe is his form only there is nothing else other than him. The supreme god. He is the gods, demons and men; he is the living and non living, stationary and mobile.
iṣṭadaivataṃ - favorite deity. Beloved god, who is worshipped with love and trust.
